The dedication was held on June 9, 2007. More than 22,000 people attended the dedication, which included a speech by Governor Tim Pawlenty, a World War II airplane flyover, and Taps.
One of the highlights of the day was a photograph taken of all the veterans and their wives in attendance. Seeing this group of veterans together was a tremendous site!
